Another cruel murder in Lodon
by Ana Maria Ciobanu

The 17'Th teenage murder in London this year happened last week. The teenager isn't just a sad number, his name was Nathan Foster and he was 18 years old. The boy was dedicated volunteer on helping other young people escape violent street gang culture. His friends said Nathan worked for the X-it project in Brixton and was also a member of the Ebony Horse Club, which organizes riding lessons for inner-city teens. He was shot Friday night in South London after he tried to stop a row over a piece of jewelry when another teenager passed by on a moped fired on a group of youths close to Brixton Tube station. The suspect is believed to be about 18 years old (just like his victim), was riding a blue moped and was wearing a helmet. What's happening is dreadful- teenagers' killing each other, what's next? Dreadful events should go with drastic measures. Police should guard all the hot spots in London and a long term strategy should be developed for preventing this horrible tragedies. If nothing is done we'll end up like wild animals but way more perverse and cruel. May Nathan rest in peace and may God comfort his family and friends!
