Ex-British premier "For Sale" by Zuzana Zelenakova

Anthony Charles Lynton Blair has served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from May 1997 to June 2007. But if you think he might long for peace and quiet existence after ten years in high politics you are gravely mistaken. After resigning as British PM he was appointed as Middle East Envoy for the United Nations, United States, European Union and Russia. He spends a lot of time in Jerusalem working unpaid with full-time staff of 12 people. It was confirmed this month that Blair will also act as a part-time senior advisor to investment bank JP Morgan Chase. He will advise to Swiss insurance firm Zurich as well. Blair admitted himself he could very well go on like that and accept even more similar posts as he got used to "tremendous load" as PM . He earned over ₤7 million this year alone. Some say his need for money is due to the fact he has a ₤3.5 million mortgage for London townhouse to take care of. Anyway, one thing is certain, Blair is on good way to become the richest ex prime minister in history. According to the media, Blair even aspires to become the first President of the European Council. We can very well call the post "President of Europe".
