Madeleine"s disappearance
by Claudia Sonea

Four months ago the McCann family went to Portugal for their holiday, but instead of having the time of their life, they lived their worst nightmare. Their three years old daughter disappeared from the villa Casa Liliana, in the resort of Praia da Luz in the Algarve, Portugal, where she was left unsupervised together with her two-year-old twin siblings. This happened on 3 May 2007, nine days before her birthday. Since then British and Portuguese police are cooperating in order to find what happened to her. All the criticism towards the so-called cooperation it turns out to be true. After four months, the police discovers that on the walls is blood and there were attempts to wash it away. They mad a big fuss over the abduction of the child and investigated Robert Murat, the son of Jenifer Murat, the villa's owner, who lost custody of his daughter who looked just like the missing one. Sergey Malinka was another suspect that was put in connection with Robert Murat. Chief Inspector Olegário de Sousa ran in circle and had not succeeded to bring forward any viable suspect and elucidation. So far the only thing that the press got news of was the supposed blood; the rumor has not yet been confirmed by the official authorities handling the case. The parents refused to comment on the information, saying that they will not do anything to harm the integrity of the investigation or their daughter. No matter how much we pity them and how sorry we feel for their loss, there is no doubt that they have mad a huge mistake living their children unsupervised, in a foreign country and going to eat at a nearby restaurant. Let's say a pray for the toddler and hope she is still alive. Until further notice, God be with you!
